Anežka began her professional career in the occupational physiology laboratory in Ostrava. Over the course of her career, she has gained both the professional and valuable practical experience necessary to build an authorised laboratory for measuring overall physical strain, working positions and local muscle strain. This year she joined our company in the position of Head of the Authorised Laboratory.
Life is a journey full of opportunities, so why not take advantage of them?
Anežka’s life motto is: "Life is a journey full of opportunities, so why not take advantage of them?" In her free time, she enjoys sports, spending time in the mountains and by the water with friends and family, singing in a choir, painting and reading, as well as cooking and baking.
The Authorised Laboratory Department, in which Anežka works, collaborates with the project team and is preparing all necessary requisites and documents for acquiring the status of an authorised laboratory. Her primary task is to build an Authorised Laboratory at EUC PLS for measuring working positions, overall physical strain and local muscle strain.
Anežka is very action-oriented and adaptable. As such, she cannot be surprised by the unusual situation that she has to deal with in connection with building an authorised laboratory. She enjoys new challenges in her life and therefore decided to work with us.
Her goal is to obtain authorisation for physiological factors and subsequently create conditions for satisfactory cooperation in the area of measurement and evaluation of physiological factors at workplaces.
She would very much like to create conditions for interaction between companies and the laboratory with respect to measurement and follow-up measures for the purpose of reducing burdens in workplaces, and to generally collaborate on addressing clients’ suggestions.
What does building an authorised laboratory involve and what phase is it currently in?
First it is important to obtain authorisation. Authorisation is the process in which the competence to perform a given action is assessed, in this case measurement, evaluation and preparation of bases for categorisation. Important documents for authorisation are now being prepared according to the Authorisation Manual.
The following are necessary for an authorised laboratory:
- Have at least two employees with sufficient education and experience
- Formulate the necessary documents: measurement strategy, quality management, standard procedures, etc.
- Prepare forms for measuring and sample protocols
- Have measuring instruments
- Perform measuring for the purpose of preparing a protocol for authorisation
- Submit an application for authorisation
- Obtain authorisation and quality certification
- Carry out measurements and assessments, and create protocols
The authorisation process is planned for next year, i.e. 2023. As soon as authorisation certification is obtained, the laboratory will be put into operation and you, our partners, will be the first to be informed of the expansion of our portfolio of services.
