Introducing Kateřina Slabá, Sales and Key Account Manager

I first encountered occupational medical care during a job interview at the company Kardia in 2013. Since then, I have gradually gained practical experience with other providers of occupational medical services. At EUC PLS, I began specialising particularly in working with clients that have employees classified in job categories 2R, 3 and 4 and that want to have or already have onsite medical facilities at their place of business.

The journey is also the destination.

My life motto, which relates closely to my greatest hobby is: „The journey is also the destination“.

I enjoy spending my free time on my two-wheeled beauty, when my partner and I discover the inimitable charms of Eastern Europe and Asia. We most enjoy travelling in the mountains, away from civilisation, and taking a break from the daily rush of our work. This hobby is very closely connected with my other hobby, which is photography.

The Sales Department, where I work, takes care of not only clients in the area of occupational medical services, but also those in premium care under the Canadian Medical banner. My job is thus very diverse. However, the greatest challenge for me is “high-risk” clients with the potential of having their own medical facilities, i.e. the aforementioned onsite facilities. Finding suitable solutions for such clients is often like solving a crossword puzzle, where the first word that you find may not always be the right one. This work requires very close cooperation with other colleagues in operations, especially with the External Facility Department, which deals with onsite medical facilities.

Another interesting aspect of my job is working on various projects. We are currently preparing a new Corporate Zone for EUC PLS clients, which should bring a very clear and intuitive possibility of managing data pertaining to employees and their occupational medical check-ups. And not only that, as the zone will also offer clients the possibility to actively create requests for check-ups, see information and details of appointments and the results of check-ups, and much more. Because this is a continuously evolving “organism”, we anticipate its further expansion and the addition of new functionalities in the future. This product will also include a zone for doctors, which we will definitely be pleased to present to you in a future article by my colleague in the Partner Physicians Network Department.
