Introducing the PLS professional team – Lucie Trachtová, Contracting Physicians Network Specialist

"Live and let live"

Before EUC PLS, I worked for a consulting firm and for several years at a bank, but the social sector always appealed to me and I helped out in organisations with a social focus. So, when my children had grown up, I finished my degree in social work. I had a classmate at school who had worked for EUC for a long time. I tried my luck and I’m now in my fifth year working in the Contracting Physicians Network department. My colleagues and I take care of the contracting physicians who provide occupational medical examinations for our clients.

Physicians’ Zone = Effective Cooperation

Something new in our department is the implementation of the Physicians’ Zone web application. This involves online management of occupational medical services, which brings a number of benefits to doctors. In addition to the fact that doctors have the complete PLS agenda clearly available in one place, the zone “frees” their nurses from endless telephone calls involving the scheduling of appointments – our client line will makes appointments for the contracting physician’s pre-reserved dates, without the necessity of contacting the nurses at the office. Also, the doctors don’t have to copy and then send medical reports as appendices to invoices, which helps not only them, but also the environment. Every month, Physicians’ Zone will create a document on the performed occupational medical examinations, which the doctors will then just forward to us together with the invoice. We plan to implement Physicians’ Zone for other doctors and of course continue to improve it. The system is also connected to the Company Zone, where the client can immediately see the result of his employee's medical examination.

My task is to present and introduce Physicians’ Zone to contracting physicians. Since December 2022, sixty doctors have deployed Physicians’ Zone and we’re still going. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, which is evidenced by the fact that the doctors who use the zone are actively cooperating.

What I enjoy most about my work is the communication toward both the company and the doctors I see in person and meet with online. I very much appreciate our team, who are a joy to work with.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling around the Czech Republic with my family, but we also like to see how people live in distant countries – we have backpacked through Costa Rica, Mexico, Sri Lanka... I also try to do some sports; we go skiing and cycling, and I go for workouts. We occasionally go to the theatre and concerts, and I like to read a good book. If I have to mention a motto for my life, then  “Live and let live” has always appealed to me the most.
